Eric Hazard brings more than a decade of experience in financial services, ranging from financial advisory to corporate treasury services to financial journalism and public relations. He is currently a senior account supervisor at financial services public relations boutique Intermarket Communications. In this role, Eric oversees the public relations efforts for clients including Charles Schwab Corporate and Retirement Services, SWIFT, Ashmore Investment Management, Asset Control and Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux.

Previously, Eric worked for five years as an editor of Global Custodian and PLANSPONSOR where he built a reputation as an international securities services expert. He is the author of more than 1,000 articles on topics including executive compensation, stock option valuation, prime brokerage, securities lending and market infrastructure. Additionally, he served as the official moderator for the Brazil Excellence in Securities Transactions (BEST) conferences in New York, San Francisco, London, Frankfurt, Hong Kong and Singapore. A regular traveler to Latin America, Eric is conversational in Portuguese. Earlier in his career, Eric worked for the corporate treasury department of Michaels Stores, Inc. and as a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley.

He currently lives in New York with his wife LaNita. Together they enjoy photography, wine tasting and world travel. These additional pursuits have led to travel writing contributions to The Lonely Planet Guide to Experimental Travel and photo credits in the New York Times, New York Post, Associated Press and more than 500 other journals around the world.
